It grants the user access to the desired link only after he has correctly filled in and submitted the form.

The admin can then either show the download link, or send it to the user provided email address.

Email Before Download can protect download links against remote linking and automated bots.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
Configure the plugin and the needed Contact Form 7 form.
Add the shortcode to a page or post [email-download download_id="X" contact_form_id="Y"], where X is the download ID and Y is the Contact Form 7 form ID.
